Hawaiian Style Slow Cooker Kalua Pork

Hey guys!!!! This week has been so eventful!!!  Over the last few days I have been busy rebuilding my site, changing hosts and the fun computer technical things.  But it led me to this awesome idea of sharing some of my lifestyle hacks and tricks I’ve learned to get me through hectic days.  This week, my crock pot saved me.  I was so occupied with my site but cooking dinner using my crock pot allowed me to feed my family a well-prepared and nutritious meal.

A friend of mine had my family over her house one day and made this dish for us.  I was so impressed I asked her for the recipe and she shared it with me.  This amazingly delicious and incredibly easy dish is prepared using a Crock Pot/Slow Cooker.  With only a handful of ingredients it is just a party in my mouth and everyone enjoyed it.  See how to make it below:

This hawaiian salt can be found at any Cost Plus World Market
Pork shoulder or butt, anywhere from 4-6 lbs, in the crock pot. Pierce it all over with a fork.
Cover pork with 1 – 2 teaspoon of Hawaiian Salt

To get the smokey flavor like traditionally prepared kaula pork, add 1 tablespoon of liquid smoke.
6-8 hours later
Eat with Hawaiian bread or on top of steamed rice.
