Hey guys!!!!! I want to share my everyday make-up face with all of you. There are so many make-up tutorials in various social media sites demonstrating popular trends such as contouring or strobbing. As a make-up and beauty lover, I am all for experimenting and trying these techniques but not everyday. I’ll reserve the heavy face applications for nights out with my husband or my girls.
Having a daughter, I think it’s necessary to show her it is important to take care of your appearance but less is definitely more. Make-up application is not about hiding features but to enhance what your momma gave you . See my before and after pictures and the products I used to get my simple and natural face using only 7 products.
Before. Fresh out of the shower and my face is bare with only my Ponds daily moisturizer.
After. As you can see from my before photo, I have very thin and sparse eyebrows so when I apply my make-up, my main focus is always my brows. I use Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette to fill in my brows and give me that Cara Delevingne full brow look. I used Frankie Rose Our Lil’ Secret Concealer in the shade Ginger under my eyes for my dark circles as well as on my eyelids and around my nose for any discoloration. Ben Nye Banana powder was used to set my concealer. Next I used MAC’s Natural Skinfinish in Give Me Sun on my cheeks and eyelids. If I had to choose between bronzer or blush my pick would be bronzer because it gives my skin a natural tan and helps to define my cheekbones, especially since my face is round. I applied the bronzer on the crease of my eyes as well as under my lower lash line to add some depth and warmth to my eyes. My eyes were finished with a couple coats of Maybelline Great Lash mascara. To help me get that glow from within look, I used Lush Feeling Younger Skin Tint on my cheeks and my cupid’s bow. My look was completed with my favorite lip moisturizer Josie Maran Argan Lip treatment. I use this lip product religiously at night as my lip nighttime treatment and take it with me in my purse. It really hydrates the lips and prevents any chapping so if I do decide to put on some lipstick during the day I will not get the dry, cracked lips (we’ve all experienced this and we all know it is not cute). Hope you all enjoyed this look and I challenge all of you to ease on the contouring, embrace your natural beauty and simplify your make-up routines. Tag me on your looks, I would love to see them. #Ourcleanskinisin
