Hey everyone, it has been so long since my last post but with my new Chromebook, I’m back in action, woohoo!!! Since I have been M.I.A., it is the perfect time to catch up and share my thoughts on some beauty products I have been fixated with over the past couple of months. I have been very mindful of the products I choose to purchase and lately I have been more attracted to clean, non-toxic beauty brands. Below are some of my recent beauty staples, hope you try them out and love them as much as I do.
Korean Face Mask– Since I live in Las Vegas and it is always so dry here, my skincare focus has always been hydration. I have been using Korean sheet face masks for about 6 years now and I LOVE how they make my skin feel soft, smooth and noticeably brighter. These sheet masks are offered in various ways to meet one’s skin needs. I’ve seen sheet masks sold at Sephora ranging from $5 – $10 per mask but I like to buy my masks at the Asian markets. I’ve been lucky to find these masks for $0.69 each. They are a great indulgence and inexpensive way to pamper yourself.
Too Cool for School Egg Mouse Pack – Another awesome Korean based beauty product I have found. What is it? This is a whipped face foam mask made from egg white and egg yolk extracts that creates smooth and radiant skin within minutes. The egg white extract purifies and brightens, while egg yolk extract leaves skin hydrated and silky smooth. This unique mask makes you feel like you’re applying shaving cream to your face but within 5 minutes the foam dissipates and you are left with smooth and radiant skin.
Honest Beauty Everything Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 20 – Spring and Summer is right around the corner, now it’s time to put the foundation away and opt for lighter coverage with tinted moisturizer. The formula is infused with aloe vera to condition and moisturize the skin as well as chamomile and calendula to calm and soothe the skin. This offers me enough coverage for my everyday face and I love how to don’t worry about any harsh chemicals on my face.
Honest Beauty Cream Blush – Truly Exciting (Pink Rose) – infused with antioxidant rich raspberry, blackberry and grape fruit extracts, this cream blush blends smoothly and leaves the skin glowing in such a lustrous yet natural way. This has become my everyday blush and sometimes I dab a bit of Honest Beauty Magic Balm onto my lips with some cream blush for that perfect, simple pout.
Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Gentle Konjac Sponge – My mom has always told me to make sure I take care of my skin. Other than products, the tools we use to cleanse the skin are also very vital. This Konjac sponge gently removes oil, dirt and makeup while also mildly exfoliating. The pink clay is filled with essential minerals that replenish skin leaving it younger looking and more vibrant with each use.
Lush – Feeling Younger Skin Tint – Mixed with oatmeal decoction, cocoa butter, jojoba and almond oils are blended together for a nourishing base that’s good for your skin. I really love this as a highlighter. I dab and blend onto the top of my cheekbones before I apply my tinted moisturizer or foundation for that instant gorgeous glow from within look.
Hope you all enjoyed my review and thoughts. Check out the products for yourself and let me know how you feel about them. Have a great week and I’ll check back with you all soon!!!!
